S. American leaders aim for EU-like body

South American leaders agreed Saturday to create a high-level commission to study the idea of forming a continent-wide community similar to the European Union.

Leader to leave Haiti for cancer tests

President Rene Preval, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer five years ago, said Sunday the disease may have come back and that he would soon leave the country for treatment and more tests.
